ISA Conference ahoy!

For the last week or so, a particular friend and I have been collaborating on topics of interest in the international policy arena. The goal of this project was to be submission to the International Studies Association (ISA), for consideration for presentation at the 2011 conference in Montreal next year.

Oh, if looks could kill.

We actually got our act together (meaning, moved it beyond the average kicking-ideas-around-on-the-porch-during-a-weekend phase) and finally, as of today, submitted three different proposals.

We hear back in a few weeks if one (or more) of our proposals are accepted. If we have the good fortune to be accepted, we get to apply for travel grants and start writing in order to take a trip up to Canada for a week of the best advancements of international policy thought of the year.

An event only a policy hawk could love.
